Couple Sues After Son Denied Admission To Elite School

A Hong Kong couple is suing former Harvard professor Mark Zimny after Zimny agreed to get their son into an elite Ivy-League university in return for over $2 million. Gerald and Lily Chow filed suit in U.S. District Court in Boston, claiming Zimny told them he would give the money to university authorities to gain admittance for the Chow’s son. Zimny denies the allegations.

“This is ridiculous!” Lily Chow said. “Forget the millions of dollars of bribe money! How could our boy fail to get into college, I mean he’s Asian for Christ’s sakes!”

Welch Twitters Himself Out Of A Job

Former General Electric CEO Jack Welch has resigned from his post with Fortune magazine after criticism of his accusation the Obama administration faked a jobs report.

Welch famously wrote “Unbelievable jobs numbers..these Chicago guys will do anything..can’t debate so change numbers” to his Twitter account after the government released its September employment report. The report showed that unemployment fell from 8.1% to 7.8% for the month.

Welch resigned as a contributing editor at Fortune after being criticized for the tweet by the magazine’s managing editor.
